I do think Brum will be near the top of the list - they haven't performed as well as the new owners will have expected them to, they will have the investment, and looking at how well we've done this year with PSR, it will be something they will want to emulate. Plus he has the connection with Birmingham already.

The return of the Jobe next season, firing them into the Prem?
 

KLD will have told him when he joined to get me the players to get us back to the PL and he more than did that. He'll have his pick of the jobs.

All I've seen is professional, pragmatic and very complimentary language to thank our players and support staff for all the work they have done for us.
Nothing about how our club strikes me as 'brutal'
 
Speakman and Ghisolfi basically seem to be doing the same job so I wonder if Speakman know his time was up when Ghisolfi got appointed

No reason to think they'll be any more sentimental about the head coach. Maybe they'll see the great work he's done and want him to continue (which most would support). But the next step might not need the same, he might not be seen as having the proven ability to take that next step, and we'd now have a much wider pool of head coaches to choose from.

Not saying he should be under any pressure at all. For me he shouldn't. But if we look at how they've operated clinically, without sentiment, bordering on ruthless, it wouldn't be a huge shock.

I agree. They probably look at the Brentford style of play, less emphasis on the all out defensive style we have. If our playing style continues as it is I’m convinced at what you allude to. Mind Brentford have had multiple transfer windows to shape their style unlike Regis. The one defence for him, was essentially surviving this first season which was imperative. I’m convinced a change of style to mix it up will be the next step. And no I’m not suggesting he should be replaced, next season will dictate that imo.

This for me.

Look at where we were when he came in vs where we were when he left. It's night and day.

Stewart, Clarke, Roberts, Bellingham, Le Fee, Batth, Hume, Ballard, Isidor, Mayenda, Pritchard. He picked up some beauties for us.

If we've upgraded, fantastic, but was a huge part in getting us here.
