Bruce was brought in as a premier league appointment I think. He was probably employed below his level when we got him in the championship.

Speakman has helped shape this incredible transformation, obviously at times I’ve been critical- I’d of had him chopped up like a Saudi reporter around the Beale time, but it seems it was a mere blip.
Can’t be a fan not impressed by what he has done and been a part of. In KLD we trust

Fantastic contribution to Sunderland getting back to being a proper club. But as a proper club clearly we are now good at recognising when we need to move on.
