I'll stick to Hans Zimmer and Guinness!

When there is Morricone or Budd why go for Zimmer?
Genuine question as I'm not familiar with Zimmer of the last decade or so.

I mean.... the Lion King is to North by North West or Get Carter what the Frog Chorus is to Rubber Soul

All of these things that people are hoping/dreaming for could come at a cost.

Higher ticket prices, more tourists, questionable ownership etc.

Does the current ownership have the will and the way to bankroll us if we aren’t always self-sustaining? It would take consistent success in the transfer market.

Brentford, Bournemouth, Brighton have stayed in the league but haven’t won anything or kicked on to regular European football.

Crystal Palace won the FA cup but seem to be self imploding now.

I would love it, love it if SAFC were a permanent fixture in the top flight again, winning anything would be a bonus.

I just think that there are too many factors working against clubs like us.

I'd love to see us in that competition man. Maybe more so than the Europa or Champions League.

Imagine thousands of Mackems descending on some mad city in Kazakhstan for an away game.

"Whey I'm at graft 5 in the morning but I've gorra flight at 2am so should be alright."
I've always imagined it as sipping a cold drink in a beautiful East European town square watching the youngsters throw garden chairs at the water cannon.

I don't put us in the bracket of Bournemouth, Brentford or Crystal Palace.
Add their crowds together and you just get a bit more than Sunderland's.

I don't think we will ever be challenging for the league, but being comfortable each season and the odd cup run / foray into Europe must be something we would all be happy with?
I’d take that , I’m not delusional to think we could ever get near the top but top ten with the odd foray into minor European competitions and cup runs isn’t greedy
A team that tries
All I wanted this season tbf

Challenging for trophies and European qualification, beating the mags twice a year. Warmer weather with the rain happening only during the night. Cheaper cost of living, beer prices coming down etc.......I'm not asking for much really

Improvement every year and an attempt to win a cup . Not bothered about Europe until it’s the Europa Cup .

It’s not a great attitude it’s an expected attitude. The moment the club is happy stopping up and then downing tools will be the moment the Crown Jewels decide their future lies elsewhere. A huge end to the season for us to keep as many of the squad together into next season.

Becoming an established PL side. Do that and in 2 or 3 years maybe we can set the bar higher. Year 2 is always tough, holding onto your better players is difficult, and the league are familiar with your team, players and tactics. We hit the ground running this season in part because we were very much an unknown quantity.

You'd never be happy to be honest. If we ended up top 8 every season you'd want us to push for the CL. If we then were finishing top 4 every season you'd want us to challenge for the league title.

Thats not the point though.

Sadiki and Talbi were both talking about chasing a CL spot. It's great to see our players going 'no, we're not happy with 36 points, we want to get 60'.
Aye marra i said we were safe a month ago and said we would finish on at leat 53 points .. the idea we are not safe is bollox and not wort any more scrutiny imo.🤣
