Really minor annoyances

The trend for websites to ask you to sign in with your Google account, giving you get another pop up.

Visit site for the first time, no I don't want cookies (half the time that is scrolling down a long list saying no multiple times), no I don't want to take a survey about your site, no I don't want notifications, no I don't want to sign up to your mailing list, no I don't want to give away private details by signing in with a google account, no I really don't want cookies, no I don't want to know about this special offer. 10 clicks later clearing the clutter you can finally see the website and find it is not what you wanted anyway and leave.

"We'll deliver your parcel between 7am and 6pm"

Who the frig wants to be up and ready for 7am for a parcel? Even worse that it's on Saturday, the only day I'd be able to get a lie in.

I was in the bath. Doorbell went I thought bugga so went to the window and shouted down “aye who is it?”

“Got a delivery”

Me - “leave it behind the planter and I’ll come down”

So I wrap a towel round and go downstairs and the delivery is for next door!

Fewmin!

Driver turned onto a hill I was coming down. Line of cars on their side but instead of pulling in they sped up to get to point where cars were. They stopped and wanted me to reverse 4 times the distance they'd come. Even took pic of me in my car! I've dash cam footage of their behaviour. Why can't people be considerate behind the wheel.

People that add to an already long queue to use the one till in a shop when the self-service is free.

Fella in Tesco this morning buying two packets of biscuits and added himself to the queue.

I was buying a wrap, and a bottle of rum from behind the counter, as a gift, not to complete the meal deal, for those invested in the story.

People don’t think about the problems they cause for themselves.

In a mates car this evening, he went slowly down the road looking for parking, spotted a place to reverse park into, indicated left, put it in reverse so his reversing lights came on. Someone came at speed down the road, pulled right up to his bumper, then started banging on his horn because my mates car was in the way. We just sat there until eventually the knob pulled around us, going past giving wanker signs.

If they had waited for him to park or give any attention to the obvious signs, he would have been passed quicker and a lot less angry.

A very strange trait of human behaviour that

Used to think if was just an express store thing but you see it in places like Aldi as well.

Should be a big sign up. This till is only for people who want spirits, fags, lottery tickets or scratch cards

The way the toilet roll holder upstairs always looks like it is wonky, but if I put a spirit level on it, it is perfectly straight.

Them tubes of cream or similar where you use the point inside the lid to pop the foil to open it

Every time as soon as you do that it goes everywhere

9am and 5pm yesterday tractors/ jcbs trundling along the a19 holding everyone up. Absolute areseholes 😡. Should be banned at busy times.

Should be in the major annoyances thread.

When people knock on your door trying to sell you something then get offended when you tell them to not waste your time and theirs as no way will I conduct any sort of transaction from someone randomly knocking on my door

My wife when telling a story will go into great detail about who is not involved in the incident in question, on the mistaken assumption that I might think they are involved in the story. I helpfully pointed out that it might be easier just to tell me who is involved, rather than have the added excitement of eliminating irrelevant characters but she cant take constructive criticism

Mrs described a bit of a kerfuffle she'd read about on local Facebook page. I asked who had been involved & she said " D'you remember the lad that used to have the house opposite, had a little Staffy?"

"He seemed like a nice lad, always said hello when I saw him?"

"Yeah, well, it's not him, it's the other bloke..."
