The Fitter
Striker
He'd be a good signing for the Boro. Give us back Alan Browne, he isn't yours and you've had him long enough. He’s being linked with us, he’d really strengthen our left side.

One head at a time please. He was class against Southampton, he’s been a hit hit or miss this season.
How do you know, is it on his instagram? He's in the away end today which is surprising
Aye.He would improve our team at the moment
Nobody like Clarke and Roberts wouldn’t.Well that’s just really f***ing silly isn’t it? You need to present workings out n stuff. Like who would he get 30 minutes of instead etc!
That’s what I’m saying, he’s been written off but needs that proper chance out wide for me.
Yes he wouldNo he wouldn’t. Brilliant for us but not good enough for the next stage.
Doesn’t always start in his team now. Not sure why people want to go backwards.
do his stats speak volumes?I’m not suggesting we go back for Clarke. Although they didn’t use him in the most effective way (imo) his stats last season for Ipswich in the premier league speak volumes - 32 appearances no goals.
That said purely in terms of ability to get us up the pitch, to link up with the midfield and to add assists to other players goals I’d say he’d have been as useful if not more useful than Adringa and Mundle have been so far this season.
I’m not advocating bringing Clarke back but it’s another indicator that our wide players aren’t contributing enough.

Pictured on one of the coaches going down this morningHow do you know, is it on his instagram?
He was there at Wembley for the playoffs too. Think he just has a bit of a soft spot for us now.
They have this seasonIpswich don’t even play him on the wing regularly
In a season where he had not striker that’s hardly surprising. He was our best finisher, so why pass the ball to someone who would miss when he could just shoot and score himself?HE didn't get many assists
Yeah that stat doesn’t sound great but most people could see that McKenna didn’t play him to his strengths. It seems crazy that you’d buy a player based on what you had seen him do at his previous club then play him in a different roll. I think it highlights the fine margins in football between making it & falling by the wayside. To make it you usually need to be in the right place at the right time, then you need all of the stars to line up after that.I’m not suggesting we go back for Clarke. Although they didn’t use him in the most effective way (imo) his stats last season for Ipswich in the premier league speak volumes - 32 appearances no goals.
Maybe a little more than last but he has still played centrally at least as much as on the wing to accommodate other playersThey have this season

Chrissy Maguire for meOnly former winger id take back right now from the non PL days is Amad
The KingChrissy Maguire for me
So for 30minutes at the end of a game Clarke wouldn’t get on ahead of Rigg or the shit Adingra put out the last 2 games? I agree if we want to improve we need to be buying better than talbi, adingra and traore as it stands then they become the reserves. But Clarke during afcon would’ve been handy. A lot of it is down to intrigue of what he’d of been like with a full season here under RLB. Also with Mundle being so poor since his return aswell it’s just a debate point as much as anything. Not writing Mundle off as he just looks to be lacking sharpnessNobody like Clarke and Roberts wouldn’t.
He’d be a fantastic signing for Boro. I think played properly he’d be able to feature in the premier league but perhaps not stand out in it.He’s being linked with us, he’d really strengthen our left side.
I liked Browne but I’d be selling for a reasonable fee. He'd be a good signing for the Boro. Give us back Alan Browne, he isn't yours and you've had him long enough.
