Luke O'Nien

If you play well enough at City to get anything from the game, the corrupt officials will make sure that doesn't happen.

We didn't play well enough so the last point is moot.

We've also been playing handicapped with Xhaka/Sadiki clearly not wanting to play with any intensity today for obvious reasons.

I don’t blame O Nien.

I blame Le Bris for two ridiculous decisions to bring him on with no previous minutes under his belt against top level opposition away when pretty much every other player on the bench was better equipped to cope.

Credit due to Le Bris for nearly every other decision but not this.

Not the end of the world though.

Aw Luke, done great for the club, been a pleasure watching him over the years.

He was never going to cut it in this League. Sad but that is the reality.

Not seen the challenge so can't comment.

The good thing today...no bookings.

I also like to complain about corrupt decisions that didn’t happen.

Ha’way we all knew with his recklessness he would be a car crash in tbe prem. nice bloke but way out of his depth.
To be fair, he’s only been given a run out at Liverpool and City as a gesture, and a classy one at that, to say he’s played in the Premier League against the big boys, when there wasn’t much riding on it.

Red card or not, I wouldn’t have expected him to feature much if at all after this week, anyway.

Sadly I think he’s done. The challenge was like a metaphor. No malice but the sign of a guy who hasn’t got it at this level.

Likeable chap. Yes
Football wise not for the premier, get rid
Unlike nosworthy, not a nice chap, miserable and a crap footballer and I have met him. Idolised for something I don’t understand

He played like someone who hasn't played at this level and who hasn't played much football for months as has been injured.

Don't totally agree with that mind. There was a lot riding on the Liverpool game when we were holding on to a point at the champions. I know he only had a few minutes but still, gestures would be bringing him on today when the games done, or doing it when we're winning comfortably

I don't think he's a PL level player, but Anfield wasn't token. There were 8 mins of football to be played and we were fighting for a point
Not sure. We had Mundle Traore and Adingra 3 wide players on the bench players who are fully fit etc. O’Nien hadn’t kicked a ball in a professional game since the play off and brought him on in a left wing spot. All felt abit Token Gesture to me.

The lad deserves he’s minutes in the premier league. he isn’t a premier league player top end of the championship that’s he’s level

Because we were sitting compact. There is clear logic in bringing him on for that over the others

He could bring him on when we're losing (today), at home and winning, over Christmas when we're thin and it might be token. Liverpool wasn't
