ID checks for away tickets

What happens if people haven’t checked their email and don’t take ID? Bit shit that their ticket is just automatically cancelled. Probably end up getting in the ground late etc.

So someone who doesn’t regularly check their email , especially on a Friday night , goes to get in the match at 2:50 and ticket doesn’t work will end up either missing loads of the game and if no id on them miss the match after travelling miles and spent allot of money to get there , if you gonna do this give people a bit notice so you can ensure you have ID and get there early

Man City tomorrow. Some of us have had emails telling us the mobile tickets are deactivated, and have to get new ones from their TO with ID.

Is there anyone else who’s had the email other than the lad on twitter? Seems like 30 mins before that he was asking someone to swap tickets on there. Coincidentally

Surely the lateness of the email is to prevent people turning up with ID and still passing their ticket on? It’s obvious why they’ve sent it so late in the day

Who on earth is going to do that man. Christ it’s gone from people just having a grand plan of selling tickets on in the hope they will be garenteed a ticket when we got to the premier league in some master plan to them now driving a 6 hour round trip to pass the ticket on to gain a point they probably don’t need

If it ain’t bad enough that they’re forcing digital tickets on us, now this shit, genuinely been times due to tight trains I’d have no chance to collect

Can I just ask what your opposition to digital tickets is?

Not saying you're wrong by the way, or saying I think that digital should be a requirement. I'm just curious because as somebody who has my phone on me whenever I'm not in the house I prefer digital tickets for everything! One less piece of paper to lose.
