New Birmingham Stadium - 60k+

Looks canny tbh.

It’s obvious they are going to get NFL football, plus they will almost certainly take all the gigs that are normally shared in the midlands area.

I quite like it. You sort of need the columns holding up the roof anyway so why not try and style them out in some way. Has a bit of a Battersea Power Station feel to it.

I'll reserve judgement on the look of it until if/when it actually gets built. No idea if they will attract new or tourist fans mind, although obviously they will need Premier League football at a minimum for that to happen.

I like the ambition. It could well be transformative for that club and the city if they get it done. Not dissimilar to the Man U scheme albeit from a very different starting point in the football hierarchy.

Laughing at their chimneys is akin to others laughing at the colliery / shipyard heritage that is part of our club and our city and is increasingly referenced here.

It probably benefits all of us as more money is invested in English football. A rising tide lifts all boats. It will certainly be a better experience than the **** holes that were the norm pretty much everywhere on an away trip not that long ago.
