Enzo Le Fee 🇨🇵 Signed!

Wingers were really poor

How could you see the chance Adingra created 1st half then walk away from that and say he was really poor?

Makes no sense at all, if you didn’t watch the game just don’t post about it.
Defensively and tracking yes.. but that should be standard. Going forward it was non existent.

Again how exactly was Adingra non existent with that chance he created out of nothing?

Players can do a really good thing and be poor the rest of the time mind

Think that's harsh on Adingra, thought he was pretty good to be fair. Beat his man sometimes, didn't others, that's the life of a winger, especially at this level. Should have had an assist too.

Good point against an established side.

I forgot to check the lineups before the game and then had no phone reception in the ground so just assumed he was on the bench

We could’ve done with him on the pitch for the last 15 mins when the game seemed to be slipping away from us

I bet everyone around me was rolling their eyes when I was shouting “get Enzo on man”

Might have won if he’d been fit today. Always capable of a bit of magic
Yeah we missed his creativity and guile. Talbi and Adingra are decent, but as it stands I'd rather ELF played on the left, and of them (or Mayenda) on the right. But it depends on the opposition. I think ELF will play in home games where we might need that creativity to actively go and win the game, and the pacey players in the away games where we're happy to sit in and counter.

You mean the one cross he did to Talbi? Are we not expecting more from our wingers?

Very good point.
I think both wingers don’t do enough going forward.
I’d like to see them try and beat their man and get down the wing. Especially Talbi.. I thought he was supposed to be rapid?

ELF was class against Brentford .. going forward and defensively.

In a tough game we always knew this was the premier league teams at our level their wingers may only create one or two real chances a game. He got through a lot of other work more than he’s probably ever done as we demand our wingers put in a real shift. It’s nice Reggie now has actual selection headaches when everyone is fit and none will look out of place at this level.

And that's before we even consider that it's game four for a squad that barely know each other's names yet.

I'd imagine that will come in time, but for now there'll be strict instructions not to over commit and to do a daft Ba or Roberts impression where you run into 2 or 3 defenders and find yourself haring back chasing a counter attack. Lose the ball needlessly in the EPL at your peril.

There's also not a lot of point in hoying crosses into the box until we have a target man in shape.

Let’s see how we get on at Villa. It could have been the way they were setup but RLB has also mentioned the lack of creativity being the next layer to sort.
Very positive start.

Ba and Roberts made me laugh 🤣

It could be we’re feeling our way into it. It’s just an observation so far.

'He's getting better day after day, his leadership and technical level is really important for the squad and now it's just the question of the journey, he will play'

Talked about how he can link up with Xhaka, Sadiki and Reinildo on the left so looks like he's playing there again. Also said they had some tough talks when Xhaka came in and Le Bris said he wasn't impressed with how Le Fee played there pre season, so sounds like Le Fee wanted the role Xhaka has got.

Thought he was superb again last night.

Would have been MOTM if Xhaka wasn't superhuman.

It's worth remembering Le Fee is playing a position he literally played once in his entire career prior to joining us in January, which makes it even more impressive.

I wonder if RLB now view him as a LW rather than a CM?
