It's a poor game but Solihull just don't seem arsed. Absolutely baltic1-0 HT

Missed the last goal as had to dash to the ice hockey ironically we're playing Solihull. Thought the game was pretty average at best but my god Solihull wer absolutely dreadful they didn't seem to have any sort of belief in them. Win is a win
You've just got to keep hanging in there in this league, as 2 or 3 wins can change things, but on the flip side it can be pretty soul destroying at times. It wasn’t a good watch BUT it was nice leaving the Vic after a win! Lowest crowd of the season (league games) & probably the flattest the crowd has been all season, atmosphere wise. The club definitely needs some kind of lift to excite the fan base, there’s die hard fans who stand near us who weren’t there yesterday, PTID.
I fully expect Pools to go on a 4/5 winning streak Dodger41, flirt with an outside chance of making the playoffs & fall away, as per. Funny thing is though, even though it was the lowest league crowd of the season (so far) it was still higher than some league 2 teams yesterday. Have us challenging at the top end & there’d be double that & the Vic is great when it’s full & playing good football, we are just so poorly led at the moment, PTID.You've just got to keep hanging in there in this league, as 2 or 3 wins can change things, but on the flip side it can be pretty soul destroying at times.![]()
Don't know how you didn't beat us a few weeks back, especially on the 2nd half performance, still a long way to goI fully expect Pools to go on a 4/5 winning streak Dodger41, flirt with an outside chance of making the playoffs & fall away, as per. Cheers mate, I was following your progress to last season’s FA trophy final & how the town backed the team at Wembley in numbers. Pools are one of the few teams never to have played at Wembley, PTID.Don't know how you didn't beat us a few weeks back, especially on the 2nd half performance, still a long way to go![]()
Yep.The club definitely needs some kind of lift to excite the fan base
Yeah, that was a great day, result, weather & companyCheers mate, I was following your progress to last season’s FA trophy final & how the town backed the team at Wembley in numbers. Pools are one of the few teams never to have played at Wembley, PTID.
Same thing for us also Dodger. We played our 2005 league one playoff final against Wednesday at the Millennium in Cardiff as Wembley was being rebuilt. Then, our NL playoff final against Torquay was played at Ashton Gate for Covid reasons (happy to be corrected on this). Consequently both teams only got around 3000 tickets. Should we ever make it to Wembley we would probably take 15/20000 fans.Yeah, that was a great day, result, weather & company![]()
.....was our 1st time at Wembley, old club or new club, not just because we haven't been good enough, but in the 1st ever play offs, we beat Wolves home and away in the final (not at Wembley) and played Shrewsbury in the Conference play-off final at Stoke, when Wembley was being rebuilt...., didn't realise Hartlepool haven't played at Wembley.

Just watched the Hearts/Celtic game & the adulation & thanks Tony Bloom who invested £10m into the club is receiving from the fans is fantastic to see! Bloom is shaking hands & having selfies with supporters, our owner bans radio Tees, the Hartlepool Mail & club president Jeff Stelling steps down from the club he loves! So frustrating, PTID.Yep.
Raj Singh's departure from the club would do nicely.
If they put more carriages on there would be an extra one on the train! There’s loads of Sunderland fans in Hartlepool. On match days they all pile on the train at Seaton Carew as they know they won’t get on the 2 carriage train when it gets to Hartlepool. Mind, there’s loads of Mags in the town also, PTID.
