Getting relegated, we would win more games in the Championship / league one, that went well (not for a few years anyway) People on here, some didn't want to go up, get beat every week blah blah blah.

It is what it is, if we finish high up, we cross bridges, in Regis we trust.
 

Yes, absolutely a possiblity.

Just depends on the team continuing to develop and the mentality in the room. And from all we know europe absolutely is the goal among the players.
 
i think we will have 2 plans depending on where we are when window opens.
i reckon they will go for it with additions if we are thereabouts and safety looks certain.

I want to see Sunderland as high up that table as is possible. I want to see Sunderland supporters enjoying trips overseas in places that competitive football hasn’t taken us before. I want to see the Stadium of Light and Wearside hosting clubs of stature from outside of English waters.

I don’t think it’ll happen this year. But if it miraculously? Fuck me, enjoy it and don’t worry about where the club is at in its progression.

Dont think anyone is taking us ‘ unseriously’. 9 games into a 38 game season in our first season back in big boys league, is still way to early to be pondering Europe . Of course it’s possible and would be fantastic. We have a long way to go and still have a thin squad in comparison to likes of Arsenal, City et al.
Too many on here equate being cautious with pessimism and betraying the cause, or you’re with us or against us. Not everything is binary
