Who do you think was mainly responsible for bringing him to the club ?
Was it Xhaka ,who had a word in his ear ?
So far he must be close to being the signing of the season ,certainly for us but also the Premier League .

I don’t know like. He’s amazing, but we’ve four signings that are all a piss take.

Him, Alderete, Roefs and Xhaka.

Sadiki isn’t far behind, either.

Outrageously good footballer.

Don’t really know what my expectations were transfer wise when the final whistle blew at Wembley but I didn’t really expect the quality of the likes of Mukiele and Xhaka to be in our team.
 
I like how he just tries to dominate his opponent from the off, he’s constantly allover people, it’s fking outrageous how much he dominates people at times.

I also think Ballard looks damn good snarl mind, if he was a bit faster then he’d be the ultimate CB.
 
Hard to believe the complete turnaround from the club at say this stage last season.

We’ve got some genuinely top draw footballers playing for us now. I’m 45 year old and I’ve never seen us have defenders of the quality of Nordi and Alderete, the decision to appoint Ghisolfi could be one of the biggest turning points in the history of the club, took us to a completely different level.

The likes of Man U were after him the season before last, injury did him over but still the fee we've paid is shocking considering his form and that he has to play for France at this rate

Whilst I can't argue with the sentiment and timeframe I genuinely believe Alderete has to be in this discussion. Simply outstanding pair of signings amongst a hat full of seemingly great signings. Never been a window like it for quality and quantity. :cool: 👏
