If he has any sense he will keep well clear of Pools at the moment! The club is a shambles & has been for a while & will remain so for the foreseeable future. PTID

I recall after we lost 4-0 at Scunthorpe but still clinched promotion that he was the only player to acknowledge the travelling fans . Could well have been at the end of the Newell bomb dive

Picked up Brian Honour's autobiography up down the library the other week. Half way through, decent little read. All pretty standard stuff but extra interest to myself as I'm horden lad and can also remember my father taking me down to quite a few midweek games to watch them in Brian's era

My dad used to be best mates with Bobby Honour. Both snooker players. More Horden than Hartlepool related to be fair. Assuming Bobby and Brian must've been related.

Can’t be worse than what Challinor was known for but a blind eye was turned because they were doing well
 
You might be right mate, I wouldn’t know about that. Since I made the first post re this today I’ve been told the source and it’s someone who would know.
Mind I can’t imagine Mr Grayson fighting tbh.
