It seems he’s obviously done a brilliant job. And for a “scout” that so many are positive about, is praise indeed.

In the past, if the club had parted company with someone, so many had positive views about, I might have worried.

Now, rightly or wrongly, I trust their judgement.

From a talk in it was said Speakmans role increased in the club whilst Ghisolfi focused purely on playing and recruitment side.

Don’t think Speakman will be going anywhere unless to a bigger club. Think he pretty much runs the day to day operations.

This. They've thanked him for 'continuity' over the summer which suggests hes overseen the new structure being put in place without much input into signings. The discussions in recent months part os similar to what they said when that coach left.

I wouldn't be surprised if Speakman is off soon aswell.
