Keel Crossing [opened 18.10.25] - compendium thread

Going to go on a Sunderland facebook site and moan:
"Shite"
"Waste of money"
"Won't be able to cope with matchday crowds"
"Should have spent the money on the buses, Glass Centre, Leisure Centre, etc"

People will have beaten me to it though..
I don't do Facebook, but I'll take your word.
I can imagine the goons typing away moaning like feck about some dross.
im going to walk across the Wearmouth Bridge to spite everyone.
Likewise - I walk over the Wearmouth Bridge from the Burton House to the SOL - and the same way back.
No need to go over the new footbridge.

Pushing it a bit fine for kick off mind

Obviously over the moon that it's there and done.

But 1.30pm open for a 3pm kick off could be asking for trouble in terms of massive amounts of people descending at the same time ?

Anyway, we'll mooch over at 2.30pm like any other match day.

Well done everyone involved and brilliant they've got This Is Wearside involved. Very good joined up thinking going on there
It’s the combined opening ceremony and load test mate
