Hartlepool United

Hartlepool United Football Club can today confirm that the Club has parted ways with Assistant Coach Neil McDonald.

Simon Grayson will continue to be assisted by Nicky Featherstone and will now be joined by Elliott Dickman in the role of First Team Coach.

My Dad said Featherstone would be manager by November. Inevitable Grayson will leave soon enough which will leave Dickman/Featherstone, absolutely soul destroying
I was at the York match.

Loan keeper made 3/4 really good saves in the first half.

More possesion in second but ultimately not good enough.

Not sure coach is the issue.

Unless a lot of money is spent on better players it'll be same old, same old.

Perhaps stating the obvious, Yorks players were better and probably cost more.

They tried their best i thought, which is all you can ask of those on the field.

The goalkeeper as you say made 3/4 saves, the one off the header was outstanding mind. Best player on the field wasn't even fully fit and I'm still annoyed Pools didn't go for him (Olley from Gateshead), he's far too good for national league. I don't think Grayson has helped himself with his style change which wasn't needed but whoever is in charge is always going to be pissing in the wind with this owner. I still think play offs is realistic though but I think a defeat today may well have the owner twitchy, he sacked Sarll a year ago after losing in the fa cup qualifying round to a lower league team. You just never know with Mr Singh

Billericay Town Fans seem to be in a Jolly Mood at Lincolnshire Blyth Services on their way to Spennymoor in the F.A. Cup......Not sure how they are in the Northern Section of the draw......Onwards to Gainsborough Trinity for me, a Club formed as Trinity Recreationalists afore the Mighty SAFC..... Ha'way the Lads and Up the Pools!!!!
