Simon Adingra 🇨🇮 Signed!

Buzzing the lad has signed he looks a great player - odd though how he didn’t want to come here in January? Maybe that was just rumours though.
FTM
I think there is a bit of a disconnect going on.

Iirc Adringa was touted as coming in the opposite direction to Watson on a Le Fee type loan to buy. But we ended up refusing their offer for Watson in January (because Brighton were still trying to piss us about- coming in with a late offer and trying to bully us into selling). We held our nerve and said no, then they eventually offered us the package we wanted in the middle of the season, so any question if Adringa was moot. My understanding is that they were trying to pay the money in installments or something.

Just been looking at the stats for the West Ham game on the BBC website.

Adingra set up Ballard's goal, but for some reason they haven't got him down for an assist ?!

Thought similar, someone else on here saying its cos it glanced the WH defender so won't be an assist.

Not sure that's true, and feels daft if it is, but it's the only reason I've seen that makes some sort of sense why it's not an assist.

Edit: looks like FPL have given it as an assist? So the above may be bollox.

Yes i noticed the flick off the defender, but it seemed slight. Bit harsh to take the assist away for that !

Does that mean if a shot that is clearly on target takes a slight nick off a defender on the way in it goes down as an og?

De Zerbi regarded Adingra as a quality player hence he picked him just about game.
De Zerbi likewise is a quality coach/manager with an impeccable cv as a player too

Not the player you want in game like that. Brighton fans told us he was lazy and doesn't like tracking back to support the left back. He needs to sort his attitude out, the rest of the team are really hardworking and support each other, Xhaka needs to pull him aside.

I've been drinking mind, and I don't know much about football at the best of times, but I thought he was okay. Didn't really notice him being lazy, albeit I accept he's attack minded so him in front of masuaku is probably a bad idea in a tough away game. But at least he was positive, tried to get at them, and we should really have scored from his good ball across early on. I felt a little for him when he was hooked tbh, especially given he hasn't been a fixture in the side

He won't be getting many starts if he continues to be as lazy as today. We can't afford players who dont work and track back.

He's not that talented to allow him to do it either
