Man Utd fans

Playing Amad too deep just so he can persist with his system. Portuguese Russell Martin. They’re shit but I can’t shake “old Sunderland “ out of my head and am still expecting a defeat.

Man Utd fans ought to be praying for a Sunderland win so they can eventually get rid of that clueless manager. I can only think that Ratcliffe's lot only appointed him to de-stabilise the club so much the Glazers have to sell their share for buttons.

I'm absolutely certain RLB will know how to defeat his static tactic.

I'm not sure Amad was even in their match day squad today.

He’s wasn’t, a family bereavement apparently

Watching match of the day I’m extremely
Confident we beat these

They can’t defend against any sort of pace or physicality.

Get Ballard striker 😂😂😂

They've been beaten as fans watching the same shit being served up week after week and told its 'gold'.
We absolutely know how that feels. It's like getting punched in the face over and over again.

They've never plumbed the depths of dispair that we have - but it's all relative.
never understood this.... man utd being a mid table club (which they need to accept) is no where near as bad as us being in league one.... they can moan on about how its relative but its absolutely not... they are a mostly set of fans who have chosen them because they won everything. I get they have generational fans as well but i wonder what the fuck would happen to them if they had 4/5 yeear in league one... them not winning a cup for a few years is not relative to what we went through... no matter how much man utd fans want say so

“Should Sunderland keep 11 men on the field they'll have zero excuses to not get a positive result against that mess of a Man United team on and off the field.”

1) What a strange thing to read after the shit we’ve had to put up with for a fair few years at how bad we’ve been ran and all the titles Man U won & European games they have played.

2) They’re not wrong.
No they are not wrong mate

Some spot on posts in that thread tbf

We're the absolute antithesis of Man Utd at the minute.

A young, hard working and energetic team vs a Utd tean that looks lethargic and full of players looking to use each other as the excuse.

I can see us winning, but make no mistake, at some point these Utd players will have to put in a performance out of pride alone. They might just turn up against us.

Humans don't actually "quantify" negative emotions on a scale that we all use - like body weight.
They merely experience things like dispair relative to their experience of what's normal - otherwise we'd all have the same response to everything.

For some people their current predicament is as bad as they've ever seen in their entire lives, to older Man Utd supporters it's nowhere near as bad as the early 70s when they were relegated 5 or so years after playing and winning in Europe.

Their situation is clearly and objectively nowhere on the scale of our last 8 years - but there will be fans that'll react as if it's just as bad and believe it.

They definitely need to get some perspective and get a life - but it will be hurting. I just hope they don't sack the manager before we play them, he's a rigid tactician and the team and fans look broken and we need all the points we can get.

I can't help but find this whole Man Utd struggle fascinating.
Watched the game yesterday and highlights just now and its still weird to me that I'm watching Man Utd like this. Even when they scored, Seskos first goal for the club, and there was no real celebration with one another. Just get the ball and go again, which is fine, but it was early on, not towards the end of the game. And its more than just Managers tactics to blame here. Individual players amongst this team wouldn't get in ours, and I mean that.
Remember when Fergie would sign some random player (Kleberson, Djemba Djemba, Anderson etc...) and try and integrate them into his great sides and they'd stick out like a sore thumb. This team is full of those players.
God I hope we beat them. Starting to look like a wasted opportunity of you don't.

As a I have posted elsewhere I think in midfield they look absolutely woeful
If Sadiki gets stuck into Fernandez , their only quality MF right now,I don’t see much of a threat…jinx incoming
Real good chance of at least a point
