Durham v Worcestershire : CC September 15

An excellent source says that Worcs came into the Durham dressing room at tea time yesterday and asked if Durham wanted to make a game of it but Lees (probably with a chat with Campbell and North) declined.
Are you allowed to do that in a match result that impacts a third party?

We'd have lost TBF

Hampshire are going to secure a draw at Taunton, so we’ll go into the last round of fixtures in the relegation zone.

It really is typical of our luck, that Jack Leach has barely turned a ball all day. Ironically the wicket he took was a ball which went straight on and hit the batsman’s pad, who was playing for the turn.

Maybe the gods of cricket are evening the balance though, cause Worcestershire have clearly bowled like idiots for the last hour or so, knowing that the quicker we get to 450, the quicker they can get on the A1.
