Durham v Worcestershire : CC September 15

Looks like it will be one of those days where the rain stops, the ground staff get everything ready, then the rain returns again.

So frustrating.
Well thats clinched it then. I'm going down to watch the covers come off and go back on again multiple times, the Blotter going back-and-forth whilst I gaze optimistically from the County Durham stand upper in a south westerly direction looking for a break in the clouds. Better known as a complete waste of time.

I'm currently in Kefalonia where there isn't a cloud in the sky and the temperature is about 30. At least now I can stay outside in the sun and not hide away inside watching a stream

I really don’t understand how we can be so unlucky, I’m less than 10 miles from the ground and we’ve only had one downpour all day. It’s currently sunny and the pavements are dry.
in-between consett and stanley its tossed it down all morning

I’m a bit more to the south of the ground, but not by that much and as stated, it’s barely rained at all.
I'll be amazed if we get any play today.

Whatever play we do get, the dynamic has massively changed I reckon. Starting to hope they’ve asked for a result pitch because we may not get much more than 180 overs across the four days.

There’s no cricket but Ben Stokes is going to have a workout. Probably as good as it’s going to get.
Umpires are out as well.

Piece of paper hanging on for grim life on the media centre stream cam lens. Today's highlight?

2.47pm update - Paper removed
