Marc Guiu - Boomerang Transfer confirmed

The whole situation
Chelsea are a shit show but we can’t claim any part in that ‘mess’ we’ve probably done them a favour giving him back and let’s be honest he didn’t look great in the very short time we saw him so hopefully they’ll be grateful and help us out in the future.

It could be like getting something with a 30 day money back guarantee and swapping it for something better.

Adds even more intrigue to deadline day i suppose

No thanks. All benefited their parent clubs much more than us, and left us with big holes in the team we struggled to fill.
Same as we benefit from teams taking our young lads on loan.
The loan system can be great if utilised well.
If we've got a hole were struggling to fill, surely a loan to fill it temporarily is better than leaving it empty?

I’m quite calm about it, nee way would the club let him go if we didn’t have a replacement lined up. They’re not going to let us go through the season with Mayenda and Wilson up front.

As has been proven in the past, they know what they’re doing.

You have to trust they’ll bring in a striker if they’ve agreed to return him. They surprised us all with their determination to give us the best chance of survival, the best window ever in my opinion so they’ll do their best to replace him. I felt they would sign a striker as well as Guiu so definitely at least one coming in tomorrow.

Guiu looked like he enjoyed being with us for the short time he was here, maybe we might see him again the future on loan but only way he could go back is if we agreed, whether Chelsea have paid us or even if we just said ok then it makes us a professional reliable club to do business with just like with Liverpool over the Danns loan and his injury last season. Surely we must have a striker coming in, hope a proper goalscorer who will get us plenty of goals
