Broken striker market

That Woltemade deal there is why the striker market is so fucked. He’s scored 12 goals in the Bundesliga and is going for £60.5m

He’s a good player like but my god.

This is why the club can’t go out and “buy a 15-20 goal proven striker”

Is he any relation to Harry Potter's Voldemort?

it's why we aren't going to sign one. young and you get into double figures in one of Europe's perceived top leagues and your instantly 'worth' 50m plus

imagine how much Mayenda will be worth if he scores 10+ goals this season
Be worth a lot more if he could put crosses in from the right wing with his right foot. The numpty

Could be a good signing. Regardless of how good he is lad has a massive physical advantage.

That said it doesn’t realistically replace Isak or move them forward as he was one of the best strikers in the Prem.

Looked very good in the U21 tournament. Massive question marks over whether he steps up to this level. HUGE gamble. If Mayenda gets double figures this season, we should be looking at more.

Better off signing a number of prospects for next to nothing each, loaning them out when ready and keeping the ones that work out. A bit like signing Mayenda and Hemir and hoping one of them comes good. And also try to specialise in striker training so the plan works. Goalscoring itself is a slightly different skill to the rest of regular football, requires being more instinctive and finding space, as well as shooting. Potentially quite profitable as a player who bags in the championship is still valuable even if not good enough for the prem.

Mags, nae sense.
They’ll beat us after spending roughly £700m on players and chalk it off as some kind of miracle on grass.
Except they might not. Well beat them
