Only slight problem is that Lucumi & Alderete are both left footed, not sure how that will work as a partnership

You said on Thursday that you'd want to sign a defender if possible. If Dan is injured, might that then stop Jenson Seelt going out on loan?
"We'll see, because we'll have the international break soon. Luke is not too far from joining the team again, so we know that later we'll have this option as well. We don't need to have five or six centre-backs. I think it doesn't make sense, because you can have one or two, three spare players. Useful if you have many suspensions or injuries, but in the continuity of the season, they won't be involved. It's not positive for them, it's positive for us. So we'll make this decision later.
 
I’ve never seen the bloke play in my life but the thought of two left footers at centre back makes me a bit uneasy like.

Probably why players with this amount of transfer speculation and have actively asked for a transferred are at least benched. Fine margins at this level of football and if yours heads not 100% right mistakes will happen! I wouldn’t be judging him off a game he should never really have been playing in!

Pretty embarrassing from a professional footballer to put in that type of effort. Same as Wissa and Isak etc refusing to play. Wankers are professional football players

His defensive number are good bar his aerial duels win % which is just over 50%

Bologna are a possession dominant side so he’s naturally going to have lower defensive actions per 90 but his success rates are good

You'd rather someone you've never seen play at centre half who is primarily a right back over someone who hasn't looked great and is 5th choice?
We might see Mukiele at centre half against Huddersfield, hopefully he looks utterly incredible against them as we are at our bare bones in defense already as has been the case the last few seasons on too many occasions

His heading duels look to me to be 38% which is well below 50?? What am I missing?
