***Burnley FC v Sunderland AFC Premier League Kick Off 3pm Match Thread***

Well...that wasnt much fun. Hopefully we can get more in a flow 2nd half. Burnley love this slow game. Felt like the big diagonal balls were loosening their backline.

Not been great, whilst never looking in trouble. Diarra and Mayenda not in the game enough for me. Xhaka seems a bit sloppy.

Adingra a live wire whilst nothing coming off for him.

We’re a team built for hitting teams on the counter, not for breaking down a team happy to defend. We won’t come up against many teams like Burnley this season though.

I’d like to see Le Fee fairly soon, we need some creativity.

Hope Xhaka okay. Be a huge loss losing both him and Ballard. Argubly our two most important players for me. He didnt look right last 5 mins and was asking Reinildo not to pass to him.

Crying out for Le Fee. Need that little spark.

Not a bad half really, Mayenda should have buried his chance but hey ho.

I'd love to see Adingra take his man on a bit more, I know Walker is strong but I do think he has trickiness and I'd like to see him use it more.

If we want to break them open, we will need to move the ball quicker. If the game continues like that, it's a game for Le Fée. Parker is a naturally cautious manager, Sadiki & Diarra have been nowhere near as busy defensively as last week.

I wouldn't mind seeing us play the ball into Mayenda's feet a little bit more and getting runners off him.
