Why wouldn't he play RCB?My only confusion with the signing is that we just signed a first team LCB. Where do we play him? I'm sure neither of them would settle for the Sunderland bench.

He is left footed. Normally you want a left footer on the left side and a right footer on the right. Why wouldn't he play RCB?
We’ve signed 2 CB’s. They’ll both play at CB.My only confusion with the signing is that we just signed a first team LCB. Where do we play him? I'm sure neither of them would settle for the Sunderland bench.
It's nothing to do with being a smart arse "after the event."Course you did...easy to be a smart arse after the event![]()
Funny you should mention it at all then...it's a smart arse move...or maybe a clever shiteIt's nothing to do with being a smart arse "after the event."
I said "faith".
Try it sometime.
O'Nien was right footed but played on the left next to Ballard. He is left footed. Normally you want a left footer on the left side and a right footer on the right.
I'm sure as an elite pro he can use both feet a bit but that's the general idea.
NoFair enough, every new signing will be renegotiating their contracts everytime we sign a new player. Sounds sensible
He has signed a contract a week ago mate he will be happy with itNo
Clubs have players on similar wages and dont have two comparable defenders on wages which are miles apart (more than double)
Don't you think that sounds more sensible?
Shame Kieffer Moore has signed for Wrexham. Not enough goals in the team atm for me like, appreciate the fickleness of this board and after a good win albeit against a shite team of course everything is all rosy and we’re ganna win the league.
Said Paddy Roberts and Dan Neil weren’t anywhere near good enough, guess what the club agreed.
Said we’d beat West Ham 3-0, guess what it happened.
Isidore nowhere near good enough, Guiu and Mayenda on the face of it offer the same kind of threat.
Need a big experienced shithouse striker to draw free kicks and get us up the pitch when we come under the cosh which will happen a lot.

Yeah, he is very 2 footed though. I'm not saying we won't do it, but watching them both they seem to be largely left only.O'Nien was right footed but played on the left next to Ballard.

At the top level, many coaches prefer a left and a right footer but you are correct. I'm probably overthinking it.Dozens of teams play with two right footed CBs, because the majority of players are. There's no earthly reason why two left footed CBs couldn't play together; it simply happens rarely because there are fewer left-footed players.
