I'm pleased about that. I wouldn't have bought one if it had a plain back.Means all the kids etc and everyone they’ve sold a top too now doesn’t have the same shirt as the team.

I share your disappointment but don’t think many fans would swap the shirt they have bought for one of those hideous things.I’d hope not someone has dropped a major bollock here. Think Hummel have designed it thinking we’re in the championship and now instead of altering the design because of the rule in the premier league they’ve just stuck a white panel on the back. Making it looks like absolute shite and now thousands of fans don’t have the “real” home kit.
Not many striped shirts amongst Premier League teams. If Liverpool, Arsenal or Man Utd wore stripes the rule would not have been introduced. What an absolute shite rule that affects so many historical clubs that played in stripes for 100+ years! And for what? To be more visible on TV??? Why not impose a rule to play with a giant inflatable ball so we can see it better on TV? Why not force players to wear huge helmets so we can spot them clearer on TV or better off let's make all the pitches white with coloured lines....The game is becoming a joke with all this americanization of the sport.
I was just being facetious mate although now you’ve got me wonderingOh is that who it is
Was wondering why that random poster reckoned he has sources
you're bordering on cartel territory there...Not many striped shirts amongst Premier League teams. If Liverpool, Arsenal or Man Utd wore stripes the rule would not have been introduced.

How do you struggle to make something like that out ffs. I’m sure it’s a basic design principle that if you want writing/numbers to be better visually over stripes you just give the black centre a white outline, like above. The names and numbers seem to have gotten fancier and smaller fonts which doesn’t help either.
The corrupt cartel at work again....Not many striped shirts amongst Premier League teams. If Liverpool, Arsenal or Man Utd wore stripes the rule would not have been introduced.
Looks better than solid red or white back. You must be logged on to see media items
Looks worse that. Here's the back of an old Hummel Aalborg shirt.....

Surely they could have just done the same to ours, instead of that monstrosity?
If it was all red it may have looked good. Grown up won’t care much but I can see kids going on about it. The fact if this is the kit doesn’t help like as it looks like shiteI'm pleased about that. I wouldn't have bought one if it had a plain back.
I've no doubt this won't be what it looks like. Looks like it was knocked together in 2 minutes by sticking a bit of A4 paper on the back.If it was all red it may have looked good. Let’s hope so mate it looks terrible would be a shame to have such a amateur looking shirt first season back.I've no doubt this won't be what it looks like. Looks like it was knocked together in 2 minutes by sticking a bit of A4 paper on the back.
They've got everything pretty much spot on so far. No way the team is playing a game looking like a Sunday morning pub side.Let’s hope so mate it looks terrible would be a shame to have such a amateur looking shirt first season back.
Feels like a Hummel bollock drop more than the club tbh. They have to come up with a better solution than those pics thoughThey've got everything pretty much spot on so far. No way the team is playing a game looking like a Sunday morning pub side.
They didn’t. Southampton were Puma last season and Everton switched to Castore the season before lastHummel did PL shirts last season so would have known the rule.
Ruins the shirt big time. Have Hummel dropped a bollock here with the design thinking we’d still be in the championship?. Would’ve looked better just a solid red back and white name and number.
they will look like that sadlyThis has been posted on another thread and appears to be correct although I doubt the match shirts will actually look like that as the main issue is having the name and number visible. That image just has the number on a white background.
