Interesting thread (needs translation like). Good on his line - great reactions. Long distribution is good. Had a few issues with crosses but this improved over the course of the season. Had a few issues playing short passes and getting himself into trouble so started to get rid more readily instead.

Only 4 keepers from the top 6 European leagues (??) prevented more goals last season according to Opta. 10.1 goals prevented. He’s also the youngest keeper who prevented 4 or more goals.

It’s not unreasonable to be sceptical of a lad who’s only had one season

Had a great year and is a great young keeper with bags of ability already

But needs to prove consistency

If he does then it’s a class buy. You’re doing nothing wrong by worrying like
Also feel like this pushes Patto out the door and I certainly wouldn't want to start the season with Moore as back up.
Good signing for the club

Good signing to Push Patto

Good competition
Patto won't be around for long if this goes through.

Main thing for me is that I trust the club as it is with these decisions. Clearly we looked at players who had played more in the position and missed out, they believed this lad was the next best option and look to have got it done. The fact the club are aware of the potential of players like this when we do miss out on other targets, rather than just looking at Sam Johnstone or Aaron Ramsdale, who wouldnt have offered a good value or quality to the club, can only be seen as a good thing to me.

Not every player we sign needs to be a name brand, if we do aspire to operate in the Brighton mold in the next few years we will sign players like this and move them on for profit. All the stats that are public seem positive so hopefully he can come in and look like a real coup.

First sign we’re running out of money!

Obviously might be back up, but who knows. Best of luck to him like.

We know from Pickford at Everton a good keeper can be the difference between going down and staying up.

We have no concrete information that says this.
That's just an assumption based on his fee.

For all we know he may be our third choice?

When we signed Reinildo on a free it wasn't a sign we were out of money.

Let's judge our overall transfer budget at the end of the window.
