Seems sensible to me. We have a decent keeper, only young in keeper terms and still improving hopefully. I don't see it as a major weakness so we need to keep the cash for other areas. Spending £20M on a keeper was probably too much so we've gone down the younger route again. Fair enough.

Ngl on the base of it his stats and data seem quite good. I knew we’d eventually lower the bracket a bit as the keepers we were going for would always have ridiculous competition. Time is ticking till West Ham and we now have a talented keeper who’s got some impressive data on the base of things

Think a young keeper like this makes a lot more sense than Ortega. If we do go down and he has a good season, his resell value will be far higher (thinking back to Pickford)

The 2 keepers we lost out on,,,Forest went for the money in Saudi so he’s no good, second went to Bournemouth to play in front of a man and his dog, no good. This lad will do for me.

Like everyone else I'd also like a forward and a fullback but I think they're less of an imperative, maybe look at the loan market towards the end of August.
