Leeds agree £10m for Longstaff

He is a very good player who will add competition.

Think Leeds will finish between 10th and 12th. Comfortably the best promoted side.

So, you reckon - based on last season - Leeds will finish 12th or better - above the likes of ( but not necessarily the teams listed ) :

Crystal Palace
Everton
West Ham
Man Utd
Wolves
Spurs
Sunderland **
Burnley **

** I assume you're saying Sunderland and Burnley will drop, although it's irrelevant to your bet which teams get relegated.

Am I right?

Leeds will finish above the following for sure imo:

Burnley
Sunderland
Wolves
West ham
Brentford
Palace
Everton

Think Palace and brentford will struggle this season.

Only then need one more for my bet to win.

Think any of Bournemouth, Brighton and Fulham could fall away this season. Even Forest too.

I'm confident Leeds will be well away from relegation next season.

We are Leeds. MOT.

How old are you?
I suspect a massive gap between actual age and mental age.
why do you want to know my age for? Bit weird isn’t it?

Love the confidence mate!

Ampadu
Longstaff
Tanaka
Stach

?

Seem like really strong options for a newly promoted club to me.

Nice to see you've blown your load nice and early on Diarra though, a player you MASSIVELY overpaid for.

Alan Browne and Dan Neil during AFCON is it?
Ampadu and Longstaff FFS.

You seem awfully triggered.

Ampadu has been exceptional since going to Leeds United. He's only young and most are confident he'll make the step up next season.

Longstaff has very good Premier League experience that will be hugely important next season.

Tanaka was a class above last season. It was a bit embarrassing no other club higher up found him first to be honest. Then again, Leeds' scouting has been largely excellent under the owners.

Stach has been on the radar of a lot of clubs and his stats at Hoffenheim last season are excellent.

As it stands Leeds' squad is by far the best equipped out of the 3 promoted clubs to have a go at survival next season, and they aren't done yet.
You look incredibly average to me. Your manager is also a perennial failure at the top level. So much so he nearly got sacked after winning the league.

You’ll hate the sight of Longstaff inside of 10 games, do you really think Newcastle are selling an English player that cheap (in the current climate) because he’s got ability at this level?

He’ll be canny if you get relegated though, solid forward planning.

Sorry to break this to you, but whipping boys Sunderland don't 'gazump' any club in this league.

Even your academy products want out as soon as other clubs are interested.

Do you still have Leeds cast offs Huggins, Poveda and Hjelde on the books?

Big talk from a club with Meslier in nets, Harrison on the wing and Bamford still kicking about.

Lots of Leeds talk on this board. Lots of good points raised to be fair. One of the best football forums around.

Seems there is an acceptance on this board that Leeds are the bigger club these days which means that all that big club stuff can be put to one side.

Fwiw I think Sunderland will stay up. Maybe 16th or 17th.

@Peace. Your choice up to £50 to keep it reasonable.

How will you monitor the bet? On trust???

@Peace being a Leeds fan, and therefore an advocate of dodgy don revie, he'll leg it and welsh on the bet when he loses, which will be sometime time around March next year.

Good call, mate.

@Charles Eats Grass ..... check the link.... you now know that @Peace ... is a Billy bullshitter of the first order and there's zero chance he'll pay up when he loses.

Aren’t you a Sunderland fan?

“Hello, I'm new to this board and a Dutch Sunderland fan.”

England to go very deep this world cup?

I wouldn’t trust him mate, he switches pretending to support different teams at the drop of a hat.

Don’t you @Peace

Excellent piece of outing by @Bears Beets

From the same thread - Post #15.

This was posted by @Peace .... confirmation that @Peace is a bullshitting troll and an out and out liar.

" Thanks for your welcome.

I don't know anything of Danny Collins I'm sorry. Was he a good player?

My team is Excelsior, a small club in Rotterdam.

I was in England and in 2011 I saw Sunderland play Wigan at the stadium of light and was very impressed with the stadium and support. Even since I have followed Sunderland and very pleased on the way back."

Bloke asks @Peace where the team he supports is located.

@Peace replies, "It could be Rotterdam, West Yorkshire, Wearside or anywhere".
