We have signed 2 good centre mids and we have Dan Neil so they fit our model where as Hendo wouldn’t and we would be paying big wages for someone who would no be playing very much

Guessing this means Neil will sign a new contract? Couldn't see Henderson and Neil in the same squad as they basically fill the same role and would both expect to start. Strange though, I kind of thought Neil would be sold for PSR and Henderson would come in to replace him and provide some Premier League experience and leadership.

My reaction is a bit meh!. We don’t know if we were seriously in for him and this deal with Brentford will have been agreed beforehand it will not have been cobbled together last night If he’d come when leaving Liverpool I’d have had him and there are things he could have raised the profile of but as a club we have moved forward. We have a Vision and a plan which is working and the owners are sticking to it.
