Jordan Henderson (signed for Brentford)

You needs some balance.
Balance of what? If you’re talking about experience

Sadiki has 127 senior appearances
Diarra has 102 senior appearances
Enzo Le Fee has 205 senior appearances
Reinildo has 256 senior appearances
Adingra has 164 senior appearances
Talbi has 53 senior appearances

That doesn’t even include international appearances

So apart from talbi all of our signings have played over 100 senior games of football

Age does not equal experience

I'm not saying im right. Ive said I'd have had him here but also happy if the club don't think it's the right thing to do. They've earned the trust.

Throwing your toys out the pram and slagging them over a 35 year old is genuinely pathetic like.
Grow up. :-) I have a different view to you.

I hope I’m wrong but this is a bad decision. People thinking of their own positions rather than the good of the club.

How many in the premier league?

One we should have been in for imo, but Christ it's the end of the world for some that he's not coming  . A midfield choice of Sadiki, Neil, Diarra, Le Fee and Rigg will do me just fine.
What about in December when it’s a midfield of le fee, rigg, Neil and jones. For me we need another (non African) midfielder for that period at the very least. I don’t want us to line up against Leeds with our championship midfield and god forbid any of those three get injured.

Henderson would have been a good player to have in the dressing room and to cover that period but hopefully there’s someone else coming.

How’s it for the good of the club? We have leadership throughout the squad

O9
Neil

Our two captains from last year

Then we’ve signed

Reinildo
Diarra who was Strasbourg captain

There’s plenty leadership already with more signings to make

Wouldn't be at all disappointed to see him go elsewhere. Far more examples of players going back to an old club as a fan favourite going wrong. I also never had the feeling of it being the right fit in the dressing room as players who have played at the highest level can sometimes have unrealistic expectations of the players around them and it could serve to unsettle the dynamic of young hungry players and players who will probably be playing above their level but giving it their all.

Mad we've still got people questioning our recruitment team ffs
That’s what a forum is for mate, I’m excited by some of these signings but people are going overboard a little most if not all have either never heard of some of them or seen them play but their mint because we paid money for them 😂 the model has produced some amazing signings and a fair few duds too let’s hope we are batting in the amazing percentage with these so far this summer. Some think Henderson would’ve been an astute signing doesn’t mean they think the model or signings are shite. Some struggle with that it’s either all or nothing with some posters.

I’m hoping we have a few more lined up with premier league experience as it’s still lacking badly take adingra out and all our signings so far have zero? Premier league appearances. It’s not vital but having some in our team that’s experienced it would help I’m sure we will get there with those we are still after 🤞

Disappointed we haven't gone in for a player of his calibre. Free agent, local lad. It made perfect sense but ultimately if the powers that be were not interested then so be it.

Someone made a good point earlier in the thread about our owners not having any sentimental attachment unlike some of us supporters. It appears that is the case.

Premier league experience is not what it used to be. This used to be the clamour because we claimed our league was so physical compared to everywhere else.

The premier league has became more tactical

And actually the French and Belgian leagues are equally as physically demanding

Enzo Le Fee himself said he found Ligue 1 more physical than the championship
