I like it for debate about sport, cricket, football etc etc.

Love sport for 50 years and simply love talking about it.

Some extremely knowledgeable folk on here mind.

I do think too many people looking to have a go at the England team and looking for the negatives rather than positives of this current side and set up

But that just my opinion

Be interesting to see how Bashir gets on this pitch mind.

Both Indian spinners have turned it at points so hopefully he can get it going down the slope, especially if we can get to day 4 and 5 on a wearing pitch.

Well my interest in football isn't what it once was. Plus on here it's far too emotional, everyone is class or shite :lol:

I concur. I'm enjoying watching them. Suppose I don't get too emotionally involved and can just enjoy the game. Others are more of the looking at the game through an England lens type. So it's overly negative if it's not going our way, and it's never about the opposition doing well. Each to their own.

That period could be pivotal, and I know I have just posted people can be negative at times.

But I am going to be negative now :D

I have no confidence whatsoever in Bashir taking advantage of a wearing pitch!!

To be fair he did okay when we went to India on wearing decks.

Although so did Tom Hartley so probably means nowt :lol:

I was thinking more an all rounder since they could bowl the next two innings and bat in the 2nd.
