UFO's

Statistics can be easily interpreted however you want cant they.

40-80 billion sun like stars in the galaxy.

50ish% of them with rocky planets in the habitial zone.

So 20-40 billion stars with planets in the habitial zone, in just our galaxy, out of 2500 trillion galaxies in the observable universe, likely many more than that in the entire universe.

Now bear in mind we find life in even the most inhospitable places on Earth.

I look at that and dont think its 'virtually nothing to work with'. But others will agree with your assessment. Opinions are like arseholes etc.

I look at them statistics and think its unlikely life hasnt formed elsewhere...ok, maybe not right now, but maybe 5 billion years ago, or 10 billion years from now.

Ultimately until/if we find life on another planet then the discussion is moot, it seems.

That's not "statistically speaking" though, that's "I'd like to think".

For what it's worth, I'm in agreement with the gist of the conclusion - I too think and hope that Earth isn't unique and that there are indicators on Earth to suggest that life could be widespread in the universe - I just balk at the use of the words "statistically speaking" in this case. :D
I see that sausage still lies in wait on here, looking for someone to argue with.

You still haven't got the hang of your own butcher's analogy I see.

Bless, still acting out because I don't believe your little green men are visiting us. Adorable.
Ok. If you won’t indulge us with zany tales of your world of capes, spells and orcs, how about something on-topic…Seeing as you don’t believe in their existence, what’s your thoughts on Ross Coultharts comments on the tic tac this week? Do you think he’s on to something?

What do I think about the comments of someone on the UFO convention circuit whose last book was one about UFOs?

I think we've covered this one repeatedly on this thread.

Cmon Fy-Fy. Methinks you have 0 opinion on this topic and are just here to thrust your love for being a Troll onto others. I’m throwing you a fucken bone of credibility here, but I’m not gonna do all your homework for you. Clues in the question… ‘this week’.
