The torygraph seems to get the inside scoop on all England team selection matters.

I read they expected Archer and Overton to come in. As probably too soon for Atkinson.

We'll no doubt announce the team a bit later today anyway. Nothing like waiting for the morning of the toss and seeing the conditions and pitch.

Another very annoying thing we do alongside the bowl first mentality.
The torygraph article past the paywall I was on about. Even mentions Cook instead of Woakes.

Crawley, Bashir, Stokes, Woakes, Tongue need to go. Pope is borderline, he really needs to go big again - can't get away with one ton a series and a load of single/lower digit scores

Sounds like a rather erotic condition of the foot for Carse 😀 but the fact is that he's had the condition for 18 months now and it hasn't been addressed. So all of our dream attack for the ashes, Stokes,Wood,Archer and Carse can't be relied upon because of chronic fitness issues.
