Chris Wilder

He outpaced Mepham not Neil. But crucially he didn’t last 90 minutes, for the second time in a play off final.
I'd have to watch it again but wasn't Neil supposed to be picking him up? I'm not particularly "anti-Neil" by the way. I do feel, though, that he may lack the pace and physicality to thrive in the Premier League. Time will tell if that view is bollocks 🤷🏻‍♂️.

He megged Neil for the ball to Campbell but Mepham was the one who was chasing Hamer back from the corner. He is very fast, like.

It was appalling defending, 3 of them going to the same player , leaving Campbell completely free , Le Fee busting a gut trying to get back to him
The excellent ‘ten trenches deep’ analysis showed that in a similar situation, Rigg had stayed back a little to cover a break from our own corner.

It was surprising to me that we conceded from our own corner as we’re usually well organised.

If you watch the match though we were very nervous in the first half. Hume passed the ball to one of their players which nearly led to moore scoring the early headed chance.

Mepham had just came on and had absolutely no idea where he was meant to be on that corner sky pointed it out in the tv coverage shortly after the goal
