UFO's

Think its actually busted flush now. They exist. Just waiting for announcement especially by Trump administration...

If there were any evidence of aliens, it would have come out by now. You think the Trump and Musk feud wouldn't have seen it come to light? It's game over for the tinfoil hatters. Nothing to see here. Never was.

Everyone is allowed a view on every topic on here . Mine is above ...

With the whole Israel/Iran flexing Trump's been doing, there's no WAY he would keep his gob shut about having secret alien technology if he had it at his disposal. We all know what he's like, he'd be bragging the shit out of "We have the best alien technology in the world! Nobody else has this amazing alien technology! Stop making your nuclear weapons Iran or we'll set our big beautiful alien technology on you!"

It doesn't exist.

??? The opposite is true if anything. There must be life out there statistically speaking.

Based on what statistics? In the entire infinity of the cosmos we've found life on literally one planet in one solar system in one galaxy.

I'm not saying there's definitely no life out there, I'm just saying that "statistically speaking" we have virtually nothing to work with.
I'm pretty sure I've seen a UFO, also the pyramids is a thing - just keep an open mind and see what happens

"The pyramids is a thing".

The pyramids exist, yes. Not sure what that's got to do with aliens or UFOs, like.

Statistics can be easily interpreted however you want cant they.

40-80 billion sun like stars in the galaxy.

50ish% of them with rocky planets in the habitial zone.

So 20-40 billion stars with planets in the habitial zone, in just our galaxy, out of 2500 trillion galaxies in the observable universe, likely many more than that in the entire universe.

Now bear in mind we find life in even the most inhospitable places on Earth.

I look at that and dont think its 'virtually nothing to work with'. But others will agree with your assessment. Opinions are like arseholes etc.

I look at them statistics and think its unlikely life hasnt formed elsewhere...ok, maybe not right now, but maybe 5 billion years ago, or 10 billion years from now.

Ultimately until/if we find life on another planet then the discussion is moot, it seems.

Anyone who believes in “aliens” is has and always will be backward. Zero proof of anything of the sort
If you go to a decent observatory (grasholme reservoir has a great one) and look through the big telescope and see how many stars and galaxies are actually out there, we Cannot be the only life it’s impossible it will blow anyone’s mind.

The issue is our sun is 8 minutes at the speed of light away (that’s near in space terms), other stars (which are suns also) are millions of light years away, the light we see is light from dinosaur time (relatively speaking). Most folks cannot comprehend how far that is away.

If it takes a million years at the speed of light it would take forever iby conventional means of space travel

Yes the best analogy of this was from Neil Degrasse Tyson.
He said if you had a warp drive to get you to a certain galaxy 65 million light years away and pointed a telescope at the earth, you'd see the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs as the light is only getting there now. Crazy.

Its theorteically possible, if we found a black hole/very large star X million light years away, to use the gravitional lensing effect to see the same light that left our planet Y millions of years ago, that got warped around that star/black hole and directed back us.

Incredibly unlikely like. Imagine pointing a telescope at it and seeing a civilisation on Earth!
