Played a fair few games for them still and played 11 games in the champions league. Seems like a calculated gamble in a young player. It’s exactly what they said the model is as much as I disliked it a few years ago you can’t argue the end results so far. He has pace which makes up for multiple of sins many winger made good livings out of playing in the premier league with little much but that.

None of us know if they are upgraded though. Do we?

That’s the point I’m trying to make. People haven’t heard of any of these fellas we are signing and I’m saying I’ll wait and see how it turns out before getting all giddy about them

He’s a right winger too that can play in the left if what I read is true. We need competition on that side as we have paddy and the lad keeping McDonald’s afloat.

They're not going bankrupt as you get £220m from being in the Premier League and then parachute payments etc, we could probably spend another 100m and be alright. Now if they're shite and we can't get rid then it becomes a problem but I'd rather gamble than rely on the players we have, signing proven Premier League players is not achievable at the moment.

We’re going to have to spend another 100 as we need a striker, goalkeeper and couple defenders minimum still
