ECB will probably deduct one point from them (unless they take four off Durham just for a laugh). Or they might split the four points between Lancs and Northants. Who can fathom the minds., or morals, of the ECB?
 
Great game, Notts still looked in it at 8 down, crazy to lose the last two tickets in quick succession.

Only a minor gripe but what was all the announcements about Newcastle and black and white, and red and white, about? I know it was the discounted SAFC game but it was a cricket match not a football one.

My mate was panicking after 10 or 11 overs when we were bowling saying Notts were well up or ahead of run rate
I said I wasn’t worried because nobody for them will score 50 off 10 balls and that we would win quite comfortably.

Great effort from Notts.
Agreed the announcer should stay away from the footy rivalry, not needed.

I did find it amusing that with this being a discounted SAFC game, there was still grown adults turning up in their barcode shirt, including one near the pavilion wearing it above his hoodie in some kind of desperate attempt to show everyone he was a Durham mag :lol:

Edgbaston for me. Done T20 finals and it’s a brilliant day out. Was there a few years ago as a neural.
Also I haven’t enough points for Palace away ticket.

To actually win the trophy we will have to bowl a hell of a lot better than last night .

Batting and fielding was class and the game as a spectacle was fantastic. Hopefully a few of those who came due to the offer will be tempted back .
