The thing with this deal that does give me hope that maybe it is as far along as was initially reported is that tavolieri bloke tweeted about Sadiki at the same time as Fabrizio (actually a few seconds before Fabrizio, i made a new twitter account and followed both to check and tavolieri's shows below fabirzios on the timeline.) Clearly he has sources that are the same or similar to Fabrizios, fingers crossed the only reason Fab didn't post it is because it's not fully done yet as our others have been when hes posted them.

Yep. And every other report has said we are in talks. Sacha didn’t say the fee had been agreed. That’s likely what we are still negotiating on

Yeah fab has been tapping in rather than reporting on interest

My kids and most of my mates are Chelsea fans and SC holders (I live in West London catchment area) All that i spoke to today without exception said he should be their No 1 keeper and are staggered that they’re letting him go.
 
If we can get this one done it's probably the biggest statement of the lot, especially in the face of competition from other clubs beyond newly promoted ones.


Get him it gives confidence we can get other top targets against strong competiton, don't and missing out on a second keeper maybe that looks a bit more doubtful.

The other ones we've signed so far have gone from nothing to Fabrizio just announcing the deal is done. We're clearly leaking it to him once deals have been agreed so we're probably not there yet with this one.

It’s likely Sacha does know something as he tweeted seconds before Fabrizio about Sadiki. But Sacha’s exclusive did say close to finalising, not that it’s done for Petrovic.

So I assume if it gets tied up that’s when Fabrizio will drop a here we go
