Calvert-Lewin (discussion on transfer)

But we'd be doubling his money ... that's got to make sense.
The Facebook link "Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been backed to complete a surprise move to join Sunderland following the Black Cats’ promotion to the Premier League"

This is complete click bait based on a passing comment from Jenas as he said here in the show

Very worrying.

I would have took Calvert-Lewin a week ago, now I know we're aren't f***ing about I don't think we should take any prem plodders.

they won’t keep us in the premier ship
Rather take the chance we have scouted well with some quality loans from Premiership and an old head from premiership. Still think Henderson was the right thing to do

A load of bollocks that isn't even worth a thread yet it will still end up pages long as people dive in without reading your post or clicking the Facebook link or even reading further than that 🤣
Yep, another thread from "footballinsider247", can we please stop creating threads with them as the sauce.

Glad the cirkin to spurs one trailed off.

It's an article based solely on what Jermaine Jenas said in a hypothetical.

Speaking live on talkSPORT [30 June], Jermaine Jenas said: “If Sunderland coming into the league went look Dominic Calvert-Lewin, we’re going to double your wages to keep us in the league, then of course he would go and do that and it would be beneficial to Sunderland. But you’ve already been at Everton for so long, I don’t see him improving on that particular team in terms of where they are in the league.”

About as much in it as an ex Everton ceo telling a chelsea fanzine that he could only see leeds and safc buying raheem sterling in the prem. The day after that weird comment its reported as fact that we are interested in him.
