Are you sorted for ticketsFantastic mate. My first time in Oz. Are you travelling over from Perth?
Yeah thanks mate hopefully see you there. I booked a hotel package with tickets included staying at the Marriott. Not sure what block yet but it says it’s England fans area. Got my Lady Gaga tickets too as she’s in Brisbane same week!Live in Brisbane now, doing Perth and Brisbane
Block 230 most days
Are you sorted for tickets
Might be captured earlier in the thread but those who are going, can you break down costs so I have a rough idea? I would love to do this in the coming years and even looking at the one-off test in 2027 as an option as it's my 40th that year.
Sri Lanka hosts white ball (bilateral tour then T20 WC) early in 2027. I reckon you could do ten days there for 1,500-2,000 if you fancied that.
Tempting, will it cater for young kids though?think my preference would also be a test match but that is good value.
Got my years wrong anyway mate! The thing about a test match is that you might sicken your entire family three hours into Day 1

I’m just doing the one test at Brisbane. Return flight was £1500 including choosing your own seats from Newcastle to Brisbane via Dubai with Emirates. Bought a package with Gullivers Travels for £1645 that included 6 nights 5 star hotel and tickets for each day in England zone.Might be captured earlier in the thread but those who are going, can you break down costs so I have a rough idea? Just got my tickets for day 2 and 3 at MCGanyone ever been? we've wanted to go for years and thinking of going for the 4th Test next xmas in Melbourne.
obviously the ground is massive, but is it easy enough to get tickets?
i see there are a few tour operators online, like The Barmy Army and a few others that offer packages including ticket, hotels and busses etc.., does anyone have any advice?
Thanks
Will it be on Sky or TNT?
Fingers crossed mate. I almost chose Doha due to Qatar Airways free stopovers offer but went for Emirates via Dubai instead.Hope all this middle east shit has calmed down by then as I'm going via Doha![]()
