Yeah thanks mate hopefully see you there. I booked a hotel package with tickets included staying at the Marriott. Not sure what block yet but it says it’s England fans area. Got my Lady Gaga tickets too as she’s in Brisbane same week!
 
BA is block 229, (I think) Brisbane barmy had 229 and 230 reserved for them. Looks like everyday is sold out in those blocks. Should be a cracking atmosphere
 
Might be captured earlier in the thread but those who are going, can you break down costs so I have a rough idea? I would love to do this in the coming years and even looking at the one-off test in 2027 as an option as it's my 40th that year.

Sri Lanka hosts white ball (bilateral tour then T20 WC) early in 2027. I reckon you could do ten days there for 1,500-2,000 if you fancied that.

I’m just doing the one test at Brisbane. Return flight was £1500 including choosing your own seats from Newcastle to Brisbane via Dubai with Emirates. Bought a package with Gullivers Travels for £1645 that included 6 nights 5 star hotel and tickets for each day in England zone.
 
You would have to price up the flight

Getting tickets via people already here 35quid a day
Hotel 100 a night I’d say

The real trick is doing your research and getting to know people/local branches of the Barmy Army etc

There are still tickets with us for Perth, Brisbane Eng section is sold out

Haven’t been paying attention for Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney as I’m not going

Fingers crossed mate. I almost chose Doha due to Qatar Airways free stopovers offer but went for Emirates via Dubai instead.
Worrying times in the Middle East. Wish I’d gone via Singapore now!
