Eng vs India - First Test - 20th-24th June

Name them

Jack Leach
Rehan Ahmed
Jack Carson
Matt Parkinson
Tom Hartley
Zafar Gohar (who has now qualified as English I believe)
Adil Rashid
Archie Vaughan
Liam Dawson

And I’d probably rather see Will Jacks and Liam Livingstone ahead in the pecking order because of their batting and fielding ability.

Vaughan has barely bowled this season and loads of them aren't

I get the feeling Tongue just runs up, lets the ball go and hopes for the best with whatever comes out. Bloke has absolutely no control with line or length.

I have to admit I get the impression sometimes that during his run up, Tongue thinks to himself.... along with some of the crowd " ...wonder what this one will do / where it'll go... ? "

Jack Leach - yes
Rehan Ahmed - no
Jack Carson - yes
Matt Parkinson - no
Tom Hartley - yes with his batting
Zafar Gohar (who has now qualified as English I believe)
Adil Rashid - yes
Archie Vaughan - yes with his batting
Liam Dawson - yes

It’s hard to see how we take 9 more wickets on this, I can’t imagine India will make the same mistakes (re: losing 7-41) in this innings that they did in the first.

That’s absolutely pathetic from Rahul.
Biggest test is going to be how long India want to bowl at England and how many runs they want on the board.
I think they'll want 400 and 90 overs
