Wearing a replica top..

Just seen a bloke in his mid 60s say wearing a red n white replica top.Is there an age where this sort of behaviour stops becoming acceptable?Bear in mind I'm also in my 60s and would like a bit guidance.Do I stick with Greenwood's or follow his lead ?
At a funeral it is probably unacceptable, unless stated that it’s ok.

But otherwise wear it.

Probably wouldn't wear one outside of Sunderland apart from occasions like Wembley/playing football etc. Just me personally though, people can do what they like.

Got no Sunderland tops apart from the original white scorpion lager one which I only wear to Wembley

Wouldn’t wear any colours for standard home and away games. Just not for me and plus I usually go out drinking afterwards anyways. Would never wear a Sunderland top out shopping or for a meal or owt that’s just mental.

Got Sunderland shorts but they’re just for knocking around the house in.

Only wear them at Wembley for games now but I still stick one on in the house, had the away one on in the garden yesterday

If I was wearing a replica top I wouldn't be wearing Roy Greenwood's. He wasn't very good, or very attractive. Same as that Turkey teeth Greenwood knocking about now. I'm 69 and would-be happy to wear a replica top - very occasionally. If you shop at Greenwood's you need help or sympathy 😉.

And a time machine as I think it went bankrupt

Without looking at other answers, I just have say….just let people wear what they want, when they want.
Problem solved.
