Make more money on Match sales ,but not guaranteed incomeThought might have released a few more , sure was posted they could release another £1k and still be within the premiership rules

Why would they hold them back for those individuals specifically? Was there some kind of promise of an alternative if they didn't want to renew there? Otherwise why different to other ST holders?A lot of the seats showing as sold in 76 Yards are in fact BCB card holders who have yet to make a final decision for next season. They'll be holding some back for them, rather than general sale.

Plus the fact of a guaranteed 37000 fans paying for pints and grub pre game and half time ,clubs making a fortune tbhLess VAT
Less the cost to provide the service you’re paying for
Negligible profit overall
How much profit do you reckon the club makes per pint? 10p?Plus the fact of a guaranteed 37000 fans paying for pints and grub pre game and half time ,clubs making a fortune tbh
More than that ,the beer costs a fortune and it’s not very nice so they must buy it in cheapHow much profit do you reckon the club makes per pint? 10p?
It was said that displaced SC holders would have alternatives offered. Why would they hold them back for those individuals specifically? Was there some kind of promise of an alternative if they didn't want to renew there? Otherwise why different to other ST holders?

MadnessLooks like maybe around 4K tickets held back for game by game sales
And then the wages of the staff, the electricity costs, wastage etc etcMore than that ,the beer costs a fortune and it’s not very nice so they must buy it in cheap
If pubs made decent margins, we wouldn't have so many of them closing. And then the wages of the staff, the electricity costs, wastage etc etc
There’s always a fallacy on here that revenue comes without associated cost when it comes to old fashioned revenue streams (eg. match ticketing, merchandise and food/drink).
But they all have fairly tight margins relative to the big TV revenue which is probably the only one that does come at a high margin I’d have thought.
@Grumpy Old Man will know better than me like but I think that is right
I’ll take that as I was mostly rightIf pubs made decent margins, we wouldn't have so many of them closing.
