This thread is confusing.

We’ve had one poster say it’s for scratters and another say it’s an upper class thing.

If it was rebranded “pizza and unlimited pints for 2 hours” does that make it more bloke?
 
It’s the preserve of wrong uns to want to consume enormous quantities of food and drink. The food and drink in question are usually of poor quality as are the people who consume it.
 
I went to one at Motel Mexicana in Newcastle last year, got greedy and came out absolutely wasted. Definitely got my money's worth though.
