We simply do not have the batsmen for this format
We don't or a captain that has a clue how to use his bowlers. We lost the plot in that first 7 overs

Forgot Campbell had already planned on McKinney being used at 7.

So more putting up with Lees scratch your head captaincy decisions and slow start batting. Fantastic.

Standard from our top order, lots of cameos but no one takes on the respobsibility of sticking around to win the game for the team.. we dont get 60s and 70s, been the same for far too long in this format ....

His blast record has been very mixed mind. 2 good seasons and 2 shit seasons.

He wasn't picked in 2023 at all.
He had a good T20 blast last year. Although he has been hit and miss in the past it highlighted the importance of having players at the top of the order who can strike at 140+.
Problem is this year we seem to have gone down the route of putting all our eggs in one basket with the likes of Lees and Robinson and wondering why players with career SR @120ish can't keep with the modern game were 180 is seen as an average score.

A heroic effort from Rhodes and Aldridge but then a complete failure in the final over.

Least we helped the NRR may be needed at the latter stages if we have any hope of sneaking into 4th place.
