No I have read it and it's an incredibly stupid take. That’s because you haven’t read it and can’t perceive the point I am making!
Why wouldn’t you want further change. Saudi is not as horrendous as nations like Iran, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan etc but it still has a long way to go on human rights. For me it is ok for anyone to work for a private football club anywhere n the worldWhy hope for further changes if it's already OK for hendo to work there after being a lgbt gay ambassador?
Sorry you can’t understand these complexitiesNo I have read it and it's an incredibly stupid take.
Saudi isn't as bad as Syria? Must be alright then in that case. Why wouldn’t you want further change. Sounds to me like what they're trying to achieve over there is working wonders on people like you.Why wouldn’t you want further change. Mag like talk.Saudi Arabia is changing. It is probably the most progressive of the middle eastern Islamic regimes. Women can now drive and the permitted age for girls to marry is now 16. It is still illegal to be LGBTI in Saudi but it is not now considered a criminal offence. It doesn’t sound progressive but it is light years ahead of the hardline Islamic regimes like Iran, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen , etc
Let’s all hope for further change in Saudi!
Hendo is perfectly at liberty to go there and play for a private club, and any influence Hendo would have in his local community would be positive - he is a top guy!

It’s a comparative term- I think if you read what I’ve said you will see I’m no fan of Saudi Arabia. The government oversee a murderous Islamic regime -/the point I made is that there are far worse Islamic regimes in the Middle East.If you don’t think we shouldn’t sign Hendo as he played for a private club in a Saudi, should we have bought Isador from a private Russian. There was no debate on that issue despite Russia invading a democratic nation. Does it mean we should never buy a player from a club in an Islamic nation where LGTBI rights don’t exist or China?Saudi isn't as bad as Syria? Must be alright then in that case.
I don't care about Henderson playing there and I'm indifferent as to whether or not we sign him. It’s a comparative term- I think if you read what I’ve said you will see I’m no fan of Saudi Arabia. If you’re not clear on the rationale you will become unclear in your thinking?

I was extremely critical of the Saudi takeover of the mags. But we are talking about a murderous government not a private club in the case of Hendo. Do you think is was ok to buy Isador from a private club in Russia?Mag like talk.
The Saudi's only sports wash for one reason, to try to dilute their horrendous human rights record. They are murdering hundreds every year without fair trial. That's a fact.
Apologies - you are struggling to understand these issuesI don't care about Henderson playing there and I'm indifferent as to whether or not we sign him.
You're just making yourself look silly defending SA basically and everyone is laughing at you.

Nah - you got that wrong !! They are making some positive changes - much more than it’s neighbours - due to pressure from the west - but much change is required in this Islamic nationSound like a great set of lads
Should we be have bought Isador. Flashing faces are great - but can you answer the question? Is there any substance to your thinking?
I disagree with any vastly rich footballer going to play in Saudi. They don't need the money, the standard is shit and the Saudi population have no great interest in football.I was extremely critical of the Saudi takeover of the mags. I never defend Saudi - they are a brutal Islamic nation. The LGBTI community will get no rights in any Islamic nation! I could not be clearer! We are starting to see some minor changes in Saudi in recent years but I don’t expect to see any positive changes in countries led by Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS, Jihadi State or the Taliban.I disagree with any vastly rich footballer going to play in Saudi. I would have no issue with us signing Henderson because he quickly moved on. Wilson wasn't a vastly rich footballer when he moved to Russia.
But to defend Saudi is madness. The are a backward, barbaric nation stuck a hundred years or more in the past.
I can have an opinion.I never defend Saudi - they are a brutal Islamic nation. The LGBTI community will get no rights in any Islamic nation! I could not be clearer! How rich a player is, is totally irrelevant! Regardless of wealth they have the individual right to play wherever they like - that is none of your business - or mine!
You can have an opinion - of course - but you can’t condemn Hendo for making a decision to play anywhere. He had worked his guts out at Liverpool, was successful, honoured his contract and went with their blessings. It might not get your approval, but he’s done nothing wrong! That’s my point.I can have an opinion.
Footballers want fame, fortune, adulation and achievements such as major trophies. They only get fortune in Saudi. When they are already vastly rich that is just greed.
IMO a rich player gets zero from playing in Saudi other than more much they can't spend in a lifetime.
We paid UEFA for Isidor. They hold onto the money until a time they see fit to release it to Russian clubs. It’s a comparative term- I think if you read what I’ve said you will see I’m no fan of Saudi Arabia. All triggered by their Wags wanting to buy an £8m house to trump her mates and to set up a scented candle business.I can have an opinion.
