Jobe Bellingham - post SAFC compendium

I think both Jobe and his management realise that he’s not yet ready to shine in the Premiership, especially in a team that’s likely to struggle. It’s the sound move for his career to go to a decent club in a weaker league.
This makes the most sense in brand Bellingham

A really shit season for Sunderland and we go down hurts the names stock

You really are a stupid arse, the lad did not play to his best on Saturday, but he was not, "utter shite". I don't understand why you need to go in like a Trai Hume tackle on one of our own players, who has played such a large part in the success of this season, or do you consider yourself to be a superior coach to RLB?

Anyone who's viewed your (many) posts can see in general, that there is no nuance in your comments about football. It's also obvious that you have no idea how to assess the qualities of a player, the Harry Kane post being the most famous. You'd have thought after all the opprobrium that rained down on you after that, you'd have learnt that things aren't black and white, but different shades of grey, but no, two days after our promotion to the Premiership you fire off a torpedo of bile at one of our own players!
My cap doffed for that. Outstanding.

Leave the lad to decide. No issues. As long as we get at least 30m. Pounds not Euros and a future slice.

Think like Bridghton ffs!

This is also why I don't have a problem with us selling him on a high, been a successful transfer in every sense of the word. We could be 5 months from the fans saying they would get rid of him for nowt again if we refused the move.

It's an absolute shithole around the station mind, particularly at night. Was there in September. Was quite taken aback (not in a good way) by the place.
Never went near the station when we were over in the summer for the euros, all my mates came through that way… 😂😂😂 reckon it’s like the walking dead down there, seen things they couldn’t believe, the side of the city we stayed in and seen was pretty nice to be fair

This has nothing to do with the "donkey work". But this feels very controlled. Ultimately its his career and he should decide his career path.
To be fair I’ve said it on other threads, I think for his career and in his situation, a season or two in the German league would be good for him.

In the prem everything’s intensified and people will be queuing up to knock him down a peg or two.

A year or two to develop away from the spotlight and pressure of a newly promoted team wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world for him.

*I still want him to stay. But I don’t think he will.

Goes with the best of luck from me. We've clearly been a stepping stone to bigger and better things but whilst he's been here he's have his all and played a bit part in getting us back to where we belong
It was probably our biggest bargaining chip to get him to sign to be honest.

We get a hefty fee and now premier league football.

He gets a load of first team football and a massive move to Germany.

Absolutely wish him all the best if he does go.

All the money team Bellingham has got and the cheeky bastard is wearing our Hummel backpack!

All seriousness, done brilliant for us. If we get £30mn what a deal for all involved. Glad he’s leaving the country so we can always be his English love 😂

He's earned the right to choose after a cracking season, but I don't really understand it from his perspective.

He has loads of potential but still needs to find consistency week-in, week-out. He'd be a guaranteed starter in the PL for us. Will he be afforded the same patience somewhere else, especially if Champions League football is up for grabs? Doubtful really.

Would love to see how he'd do in the prem for us mind
