Jobe Bellingham - post SAFC compendium

They got into Champions League and Kovac is staying. My personal opinion is that Jobe needs another year here but it is up to him. Not sure he would get a game ahead of Nmecha and Gross but Dortmund are in far better position than they were under Sahin.
I thought Kehl wanted shot of Kovac?

Kehl might want many things but he hasn't got any leverage after the way they qualified for Champions League. In their last 8 games, they won seven and got a draw away at Bayern in the other. They need some defenders and cover for Guirassy but far from a crisis. My son supports Dortmund so I watch them most weeks.

Jobe seems quite invested here, we’re going to be playing at a level at which he hasn’t proven himself and (most importantly) Dortmund’s transfer record is 33million euros and I don’t believe they’ll break it for Jobe (which they would have to do imho).

Hope and pray they let him stay and at least have one season with us in the premier. I think he would like to stay but it will be all about who comes in for him and how much they offer

Fully expected the lad to be sold for big money this summer after the start he had to the season regardless of which division we ended up in.

Just wonder if the family might consider a season in the Premier league as being worth the experience.

I'm sure som e big clubs will be looking at trying to get him right now put of fear that a good Premier league season could see his value add another 10m easily (Delap as an example).

Get the feeling and have for sometime he’ll be away to a European club this summer.

They won't have 3omill plus
This. Their record signing is 35 million euros.
They aren't going to break their transfer record for someone who won't be first choice in a team challenging to win the bundesliga.
We are a PL team now and other than really elite clubs outside of the PL noone can compete with us financially.

Him and neil are gone for 35 mill. Believe it or not they thing triantis s better than jobe.

Apparently he's just signed a contract until 2028

Unfortunately he’s put that up (it was from his contrarct announcement last year) then a wine emoji. Aged like a fine wine is the reference I guess.

I thought he’d stay if we went up, but seems a lot of talk about him moving on. It would be a shame but €40mn is a lot of money so it’d be a nice ending for both parties.

I think he'll go but there's no way it's 40m like.
