Jobe Bellingham - post SAFC compendium

Anyone who watched that game yesterday can see Dan Niel will get destroyed week in week out in the prem

He’s been poor all season for me.
Jobe grew in stature and upped his game when our leader went off! Really impressed me and I’ve not always been his biggest fan.

Dan Neil had a horrible game, he froze a bit I thought. But I just don’t think he’s good enough to step up having watched him.

He will be given the chance to though if he wants, but if we are to play him recruitment has to be top notch to give him a chance, and I think he may end up at top end championship side on a better contract than we will offer.

He could still go as that’s football but the sensible thing for him is to stay and play week in week out for at least a season. That’s what his ‘people’ should be telling him. Money etc that’s all to come and it will come for sure. For now it’s game time, big fish smaller pond, make a name for yourself

I trust the club to do the right thing , potentially Jobe is at the peak of is value & for a developing club like us then I think we’d do right by cashing in & actually strengthening the team

That was likely his last game. Romano put it out last week that he is Dortmund bound. We might have squeezed a bit more money out of the deal following promotion.
With regard to Jobe to Dortmund rumours... what young player would look at them and think 'that's the club for me'. The people around Jobe appear very sensible and would not want him to be going into the crisis and upheaval that Dortmund are going through at the moment. That said, what do I know? If he is Germany bound, I'd be surprised if anyone in his circle will have looked at Dortmund and thought it a good option.

Jobe been fantastic for the club he took a bit of a gamble to join as there was bigger clubs in for him he had a good first season for a youngster he also put up with some Criticism from us but this season been outstanding and he’s mentality has been huge for us if he goes which a fink he probably will and don’t be surprised for it to be a lot less than we expect as there was a rumour when he signed the new deal there was a release clause in it
